kenny.cx is my personal portfolio site, built to highlight the creative and technical work I have done over the years, from custom themes and tools to experiments that started as simple ideas and grew into something worth sharing.
My portfolio site has taken many shapes and forms—from simple static HTML pages and Wordpress installs to a custom-built PHP and XML blogging platform. With this latest iteration on 11ty, I enjoy the freedom to design and build creative tools, while keeping the end result simple, fast, and deployable anywhere. It’s a blend of fun challenges and practical solutions that make the process as rewarding as the finished site.
Why 11ty?
I chose Eleventy (11ty) because it’s fast, flexible, and lets me build exactly the kind of site I want—without getting in my way. Its simplicity and power make it perfect for a creative portfolio.
Why Bootstrap?
I use Bootstrap because it gives me a solid, responsive grid and a ton of utility classes—so I can focus on design and content, not reinventing the basics.
Why Nunjucks?
Nunjucks lets me write templates that are clean, readable, and reusable. It’s powerful enough for complex layouts, but simple enough to keep everything maintainable.
