A walk in the woods near my childhood home, I couldn’t resist capturing this candid shot of my partner as sunlight streamed through the trees. I originally shot it in black and white, then brought back a hint of green in Lightroom to highlight the forest atmosphere.

The composition uses strong contrast between light and shadow, with the sun’s rays radiating outward and the path leading the viewer’s eye into the distance. The figure is centered, adding a focal point to the serene natural setting.
